Gustiamo in Forbes Italia

The Forbes Italia February issue features Italian businesses in NYC, including us! They call Gustiamo, “the excellence of the Italian table in the Bronx.”

Here’s our translation of the article, but if you are in Italy you have until the end of February to get it from the newsstands!

“There’s a place in the Bronx where you can find the best Italian food, all made by excellent producers and all gathered under the same roof. It’s Gustiamo, so much more than a simple store. Beatrice Ughi (in the photo third from left) founded it in 1999 with a mission she is still committed to today: importing to the USA and Canada. Not only the finest Italian ingredients, but also the ones that respect sustainable production methods. From almonds from Sicily to honey from Sardegna, Gustiamo’s concept is to use food to exalt both the food product and the culture from which it comes. In addition to their Italian food e-commerce, Gustiamo has a wholesale program dedicated to the most important American chefs, the ones that want to make sure they are sourcing the best Italian ingredients, personally selected by Beatrice and her team. Gustiamo’s wide selection is often talked about in the New York Times Front Burner, the column for the best new food products which inspires readers to discover what’s new and what they shouldn’t miss.”
